Art Alley is public art project executed by the Downtown Lynchburg Association and completed in October of 2021, the intersection of Commerce and 11th Street.
The community will find vibrant outdoor galleries, colorful art and light overhead, majestic murals, and outstanding street art. Art Alley elements have been designed by professional artists from all over Central Virginia. In early April of 2021, DLA posted a call for artists and had over 40 individuals submit their work to potentially be a part of this project. This bright, exciting new attraction is creating a destination that will support local businesses, encourage tourism, and improve the quality of life for our residents.
